Colleges are completely complicit in this finance-wrecking life choice too. When you get student loans they don't warn you about the payments later on...at least not seriously.

Colleges are also more than happy to keep increasing the price of admission by more then triple inflation. As long as they don't have any skin in the game on student loans, they are just as happy as a greedy corporation to feast on relatively poorer individuals to line their pockets...they'll virtue signal about inequality after they have cashed the loan checks.

Colleges artificially create demand for their own product by exclusion. The University of Michigan should be 10X the size.

18 years old... if you don't feel a really strong desire to get away from your old man/mommy, get a job, make your own money, and get life started... there is something wrong with you.

Doesn't mean you cut off your parents and do something stupid. But the desire should be there to motivate you to wrap up school or learn a trade.

I have no idea how this urge doesn't exist for Millennials. They can be living at home at 28 with no degree and no job and be OK with that.

I remember that desire really well.  Part of it was just expectations too, my sister and older friends all left home asap pretty much, it just was what people did at that age.

Yes, the norms have changed somewhat since 2007. Living at home after 22 isn't considered as embarrassing as it was for the Gen Xers.

It's not easy out there to live on your own.  I know many people who are in their 30s and still live with their parents

office jobs that a high schooler could do ask for a 4 year degree. get the fuck out of here

That’s because the market is flooded with dumb Millennials with degrees. There isn’t some conspiracy here. Everyone having a shit degree means they are mostly worthless.

Beto is a fucking joke and is clearly using the fact that this shooting happened to occur in El Paso as an excuse to pimp out his campaign.

Every politician will try to profit off this. Even Trump by going to El Paso and Toledo

The most exciting and dynamic thing to happen during the Beto campaign has been 22 people being brutally murdered in El Paso. That's why he needs to just go away.

I see Gabbard is doing super well. Popular at least with the wingers.  Glad to see Warren climbing.

The only people that should be left from that poll are the top 5. Everyone else can go away especially some of those fake Democrats

Among other candidates included in the poll ratings, views of O’Rourke suffered the sharpest drop. He currently has a 43% favorable and 24% unfavorable rating, which is significantly more negative than his 60%-13% rating in April.
